Lobed Argiope spider (Λοβωτή Αργιόπη)

Argiope lobata

Description:

We were hiking, and my daughter said: We haven't seen a lizard, nor a single snake, not even a nice spider... And there she was: a spectacular female Lobed Argiope spider (Argiope lobata)...So silvery and beautiful... Spotted near Milies, Pelion mountain, Greece.
