Spotted Bug

Description:

What caught my attention were the two appendages that looked like a cresent on the screen. These were not touching the flower on which the insect was resting.

Habitat:

Sitting on a wilted pink Hibiscus flower.

Notes:

I cropped the last photo as much as I could hoping someone could help me ID this.
