Description:

Can grow up to 90cm tall herb with green/reddish stem. Hardy perennial with purple-tinged, dark green, lanceolate leaves and small, pale purple flowers.

Habitat:

Garden. Damp light soil in sun or partial shade.

Notes:

Can be used culinary and medically. When eaten, it feels like coolness in your mouth. It is effective antispasmodic, a decongestant and an antiseptic. From fresh or dried leaves you can make a tea, which regulates digestion, reduces the pressure in the stomach, inhibits excessive activity of intestinal smooth muscle etc.
