Description:

Can grow up to 2m. Evergreen, gardy perennial with dark green, needle-shaped leaves and spires of small, blue-purple flowers with string odor.

Habitat:

Garden. Well-drained to dry soil in the sun.

Notes:

culinary, cosmetic, decorative use. Symbol of friendship, love, fidelity. Its aromatic leaves can be used for strewing, burnt to purify the air. Rosemary can be cooked with lamb, fish etc. Its aerial parts can be used as a compress and shrink the tissue, for calming nerves, improving digestion, disinfection, can eliminate flatulence and spasms in the intestines, causes sweating, stimulates the secretion of urine and bile flow, alleviates depression, improves blood circulation, invigorates the nervous system and strengthes the heart. Essential oil increases blood flow to certain parts of the body, relieves pain, cures rheumatism. The essential oil is recommended for arthritic states. As a tonic it stimulates growth and restores hair color, that why it is a common additive in shampoos. Rosemary improves digestion and blood circulation, helps against rheumatism. Promotes and strengthens the nervous system, widening the blood vessels, to help general fatigue and depression and bloodstream. It is a means tablecloths cramps and has a bactericidal effect and vitriciden. It helps in blood circulation disorders, fatigue, low blood pressure, and anemia, heart nervousness, headaches.
