Lady Bug Eggs

Coccinellidae

Description:

I found eggs in two more places on the fennel tree. The first pic shows eggs deposited on a very thin stem.Seems a very "fragile" kind of place. Once the larvae eat their way out of the eggs ,hey are bound to fall on the ground below. The second place was a dried up fennel leaf. i have observed that even though there were no aphids on the fennel plant, this seemed to be one of their favorite plants. The Milkweed plant was a favorite of course ,It had tons of Aphids on it.
