Huge burrowing beach insects that look prehistoric. They bury themselves under wet sand and rocks and run fast when brought to the surface. They have a lot of legs, maybe 8, and a hard shell.

Habitat:

Lives in the wet sand at the beach in Groton, CT and digs under the rocks.
