I live in Seven Valleys, PA. Our home is in the woods/farm land. It was found on my tomato plant. The parasites were moving around in their cocoon. In my profile for project noah, have a picture of a different looking hornet that we spotted in our back yard. Is it related to that one?

Could you tell us more about the habitat this caterpillar was found in? What about the plant it was on?
This caterpillar is being parasitized by wasp larvae in the Braconidae family. The white cases are cocoons of these wasps.
