i checked with Bug guide and this is an all Black Honey Bee, Apis Mellifera.
i posted the link in the previous comment.
They can range from all orange to all black.
Call it a color morph or melanistic? :)

Yea I'm definitely not positive of that, invertebrates aren't my specialty. But it looks right, and range and habitat look good for it :)

Thank you for the ID , Ashley. The Habitat fits perfectly ",Osmia lignaria" the subspecies does very well in The cool damp climate of the pacific.
Osmia lignaria propinqua is the name of the subspecies.

It is a mistake obviously. I have uploaded at least 50 bees so far,all as arthropods.
