Black caterpillar with yellow stripes down the length if its back. It is very spiny with two "horns" by its head.

The Anisota genus is very confusing and hard to distinguish at all stages of their life cycle. This fits the description of Anisota peigleri, but there may be some variations within A. senatoria which can be hard to distinguish. If you are able to raise this moth, you will get a lovely moth similar in color to this species: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/360...
