They are very cool looking insects. They have quickly risen to one of my all time favorite bugs. Their body shape is so very interesting and ya gotta love the common name.

I thought they were mantids when I first saw one in the wild too! I got all excited like I'd found something new, but it turned out, it was just new to me. Still neat though.
