Delicate little flower with almost transparent petals, 8 mm long, that unfurled from between two bracts like clasped hands.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
