Description:

Ants shown milking aphids for their sugar . Dark, wingless (except during mating season) insect; abdomen found joined to thorax by thin section with raised bump. Bent antennae; lives in communal nest. Adult and nymph Aphids are found together in huge numbers on their host plants, on above ground structures.
