Description:

This is a male peafowl, that is india's national bird. The peacock is probably one of the most dazzling birds to behold. It has a shining blue neck,a metallic green breast, a wire - like crest and a beautiful, long and luxurious tail, up to 1.5 m long.

Habitat:

Thick scrubland, decidous forests, areas near human habitation and water.
