Flower has 6 lavender colored petal-like sepals. The leaves have rounded lobes. This flower belongs to the Buttercup family.

Habitat:

Spotted near Pine Lake at Tamarac NWR. This is a perennial woodland wildflower of early spring. It grows in dry, shade, deciduous woods.
