Description:

Shrub or medium-sized tree, often multistemmed with spreading branches; occurring in fynbos, along streams and in sheltered valleys. Young growth densely covered with rusty to golden-brown hairs. Leaves 4-9 whorled, dark green, hard and leathery. (van Wyk, 2011)
