Description:

•Their maximum weight is 2500 g. •They eat small invertebrates, small fish and algae. •The juveniles have vertical dark stripes.

Habitat:

Open rocky coasts, sandy shores, litoral pools between rocks, seagrass beds, reefs -I saw these fish in Ilha Grande (RJ, Brazil)

Notes:

There are also chere-chere grunts and a sergeant major in the picture
