Bark bug - nymph

Neuroctenus grandis

Description:

These small bug nymphs live under bark of dead trees. Little is known of them and it is assumed they are saprophytes or fungivorous I have seen the adults before http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/349...

Habitat:

Under bark of a recently fallen tree.

Notes:

Seems there is only one species likely to be found in Victoria but there has been some discussion concerning ID on the following threads. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/349... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/376...
