When you get a moment, will you please enter the scientific name to this spotting so it can join the official PN database? Thanks! :-)

You have the Gray Tree Frog and Cope's Gray Tree Frog. They are visually indistinguishable, the only way to tell them apart is by their number of chromosomes. You can technically tell them apart by their call too, but only if they are at the same exact temperature, and you have no way of knowing if they are at the same temperature. But both species can be gray, mottled gray, mottled green, or solid green. They are super cute!

Nah well maybe the usual ones I find are the Grey and white calico ones but I found one that was small green and Grey... Well good luck with that that sounds like a big task haha

Have you found any baby tree frogs? The species you have in Indiana are freaking adorable as babies, I haven't found one yet though. Ok sounds good, I have lots of tree frog spottings, I go out looking for them specifically a lot, unfortunately I don't have a whole ton of species of them. My goal is to find every tree frog species in the US before I die haha

I know haha I'm just being a flirt:P they are soooo adorable I wish I would have kept the last ones I found they seemed to really like me.. I have a computer but I'm outside by a fire atm so ill check it out in a little while

Hahahah you aren't supposed to do that! You're supposed to agree with me because I'm studying amphibians and know them really well haha. Tree frogs are my absolute favorite, having them crawl on me with their sticky toes is the greatest thing haha. If you have access to a computer, you should get on and explore the site, it's way easier than from a phone. There are so many cool things to see from all over the world!

Yeah.. Tree frogs are great! Yeah that's understandable. I thought I had updated I a bit ago but signal is spotty here so it didn't work hopefully it worked this time.. I totally agree with you you are really good looking I would have agreed if you were wrong;)

Haha well whatever works. I got tree frogs from the pet store in town even though they weren't the species I wanted, but shipping amphibians to get what I wanted scares me. Ps I identified this guy for you like an hour ago, you should update your spotting so it's not considered unidentified anymore, if you agree with my suggestion that is :)

I have tried that a few times and still couldn't do it I want to like them but I can't.. Cresties are nice I just got the leopards because they were really cheap but they were worth it

I used to be pretty afraid of them too, but when you have an open mind about them and let them crawl on you instead of you just randomly finding them on you and freaking out, it really makes a difference haha. As far as pet trade lizards, I think crested geckos are probably my favorite, but leopard geckos are pretty awesome too!

I have arachniphobia I'm terrified by them.. I have tried giving them chances but it wont work haha I love snakes I have to leopard geckos that I love to death

Haha spiders are growing on me, I really love tarantulas though. You should try giving them a chance, they really aren't that bad :) And thanks! I prefer the little snakes to keep as pets, both of mine are under two feet. Big snakes are too much for me to keep up with lol

Well I love all amphibians, but I agree toads aren't as exciting as frogs lol. It definitely is, I have learned so much in the 11 months I have been on the site!
Yep that's me two years ago, the snake is an albino burmese python. All 12 feet and 50 lbs of him haha, he was super sweet though :)

Yeah it's crazy.. I don't deal with toads they bore me haha... It's Ann awesome Site to learn things.. Is that you in your photo? That's a huge snake

Great! Cricket Frogs and Leopard Frogs are both pretty hard to catch, toads are much easier though since they can only hop about their body length. I agree, I want to take more pictures since there is a place to upload them and show people. Glad you're enjoying the site :)

Right? It took over an hour to catch just the one.. I really like this app so I was determined to catch it for this

AshleyT

No worries! And I understand how hard they are to catch, they can jump like 15 feet in one jump and get away very quickly!

I have edited your notes section to remove the profanity. Please refrain from using that kind of language on this site as there are many children that are on here daily. Thanks!
