Tortoise beetle

Subfamily Cassidinae of family Chrysomelidae

Description:

Anybody knows what this is? It looks like a small beetle covered in some transparent shell. You can see small antennas. It hasn't moved since days now and it might even be dead. The beetle itself shines golden in color and at night too it seems to shine (as seen last night). I'll try to take a pic tonight (not sure if it'll be captured properly with this phone camera)
