Orange wings with black markings. .

Habitat:

Milkweed in my garden in Centreville, VA

Notes:

Spread seeds found in field several seasons ago. I have had great luck observing lots of Monarch Caterpillars & Butterflies each summer & fall ever since. This picture was taken 2 years ago, but have counted 6 Monarchs this summer in same location & found 15 caterpillars today! (9/4/2013)
