Description:

Baeckea is a genus of shrubs in the myrtle family Myrtaceae. B. robusta is a wildflower that grows along the southwest coast of the state of Western Australia as an erect, slender shrub, 0.9-2.6 m high. Flowers white/white-pink during June to December.

Habitat:

Grey or yellow sand over laterite or limestone. Sandplains, coastal limestone.

Notes:

Baeckea closely resemble Leptospermum (Tea Trees), and like Tea Trees contain essential oils. This plant has no common name.
