I've seen more than a dozen of these wash ashore in varying states of decay while at my family vacation spot in R.I. Very nice specimen BTW. And thanks for the additional confirmation.

Just researched several different websites including VIMS and Va Dept of Game and Inland Fisheries. Confirmed This is an Atlantic Stingray. Thanks for helping us clarify the species.
