Monarch butterfly

Danaus plexippus

Description:

The Monarch butterfly is a milkweed butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is perhaps the best known of all North American butterflies. form Wikipedia

Notes:

I finally met this butterfly at the end of summer for the first time and maybe the last, at least this year. It was bright orange and beautiful. Summer is ending here and I would not see too many small living creatures… :-(
