Hairy Indigo

Indigofera hirsuta

Description:

A sprawling large legume plant. (I think it's a legume ...) about 1 meter tall. Long magenta flower spikes, at the end of the branches, several per plant. Pinnately compound leaves.

Habitat:

Oak scrub, full sun, lake Eaton Sinkhole trail. (Parking lot, actually).

Notes:

I'm not sure if this is wild , or a decorative planting, as it was in the parking lot in front of the restrooms.
