Description:

Garter Snakes are well known across North America, Learking on a diet consists earthworms, but also fish, small birds, and rodents. Garter snakes are effective at catching fast-moving creatures like fish and tadpoles. Garter Snakes have to beaware of large fish (bass and catfish), bullfrogs, snapping turtles, larger snakes, hawks, foxes, turkeys, cats and dogs.

Found on the local Rail Trail (bicycle trials) in Windham NH
