I'm not absolutely certain if I have this right. I relied on similarities to other pictures of water hemlock, including the leaves, but these stems are really purple...

Thanks Simone! It does look a lot like cow parsnip, but I'm pretty sure it's not because the leaves are so different.
I think I'm going to go with water hemlock for now because of the leaves. I'm still not certain, though...hopefully someone here can confirm!
