Indian Desert Cat

Felis lybica ornata

Description:

Looks like an ordinary cat unless you look closely at the bands on the legs and tufts in the ear and the black-tipped tail. The dots on the body and its colour sets it apart. Or am I wrong? Could it be a hybrid?

Habitat:

Unused stretch of land full of food and other waste material adjoining a lake inhabited by many species of birds (potential prey). Urban habitat. Arid area apart from the artificial lake.

Notes:

Also Asiatic Wild cat. https://roundglasssustain.com/photostori...
