Rock Squirrel

Otospermophilus variegatus

Description:

A small, overall brown squirrel that has a fairly speckled white back.

Habitat:

Found on a large tree at a bird feeder on an open lawn.

Notes:

Lifer for me, but for some reason lifer mammals aren't as exciting as herp and bird lifers ;)
