This is a Glossy Ibis. White-faced has faint white around the eyes, whereas Glossy has a thick, light blue patch around the face that doesn't complete around the back of the eye. Click on this two websites and go click on the images of both birds in breeding plumage and you will see what I'm talking about

It looks like white around the face so I would say White-faced.

You got both names for the bird, you scientific name says White-faced and your descriptions says Glossy
