Interestingly bayucca this spotting which I have as a possible Squash Bug http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/396... was on the same plant. Taken at the same time : ) I would love an ident for this plant, it plays host to so much insect life .. I never pass this plant without checking.. and I'm rarely disappointed. I have a PN spotting for it http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/157... but still trying to find an ident .

Coreidae, Coreinae, Mictini, 1st or 2nd instal nymph. Squash Bugs or Crusader Bugs called in Australia. But I am not sure if all these Mictini are called Crusader Bug or only Mictis sp. We had once some similar ones from Brazil (probably from Sergio) and as I can remember we talked about Coreidae, Leaf-footed Bugs. Your is probably a nymph and certainly more a "Leaf-armed Bug", which is not the usual way Coreidae look. But as I remember again, we did not find out which one it is. I think I have also seen some from Asia and Australia. After doing some search, I am pretty sure, that yours is a Mictini.
