Another interesting gall. I found only two, one in a dead leaf, the other in a worn leaf. Size is 6 mm.

Thank you Jason and Martin. Unfortunately, Martin, these photos were taken when I was visiting my wife's family, far from my hometown. Next time I go there I'll try to find more info about it.
I can be a Wax Scale I think..
Neat. The leaf might be dead but the gall is still very much alive and has undoubtedly taken over the nutrition of the leaf. Notice the position of both near the base of their leaves. Strategically laid egg positions, I would suspect a gall wasp or fly.
If you cut one open, you might find a grub inside.
