Hawthorn Shieldbug nymph

Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale

Description:

Interesting little bug spotted on a windowsill in Stafford, England. Quite small, approx 5mm with red limbs but black tips on its antennae. The back half of it's shell was green with black spots. It seemed to like standing with it's head raised and front legs extended as you can see in the second picture.
