Eucalyptus leaf beetle

Description:

A small leaf beetle with pale bluish-green pronotum and elytra.The pronotum had well defined brown markings.The anterior part the elytra also showed some dark brown patches and brown specks all through the elytra. The overall colour of the beetle matched the blue green waxy gum leaves and was well camouflaged.

Habitat:

Spotted on a young blue gum bordering a farm.
