Long-spined Urchin

Diadema antillarum

Habitat:

all marine habbitats, sandy, rocky, or grassy bottoms; feed on algae mostly at night.

Notes:

Numerous of these at this beach in the rocky area. I believe these 3 were clearly long-spined though there were also many rock boring urchins in the area.
