Description:

Rose Penelope, is a white shrub rose from Pemberton, England. Penelope rose is a hybrid musk rose that was introduced in 1924 that is remarkably disease resistant. The rose buds start out shell pink and open into white blooms with lemon centers. The flowers are very striking with a lovely rose fragrance. Penelope rose growth habit is tall, vigorous and bushy, and the disease free foilage is medium green, matte and leathery.
