Twig Crab Spider

Family Thomisidae, Tmarus sp.

Description:

Here you can see a complex situation, involving at least four insect species: while a female spider (the large, light gray spider) is relishing an appetizing ant, a spider male takes advantage of the situation to fulfill his duties as a husband. Meanwhile, several flies, from at least two different species, enjoy the free meal.
