Description:

Flowering fruit tree with simple, pinnately-veined leaves. Ovate with pointed tips, finely toothed margins, alternately arranged. Produces pink flowers in the spring, maturing into small fruits approximately 1 cm in diameter.

Habitat:

Street tree, cultivated. Seems to do well in clay soil.

Notes:

Produces a LOT of fruit, and it reseeds itself quite successfully.
