This particular tree means a lot to me personally because everyday that I wake up and stumble to class half asleep, I make my way past this tree and it reminds me of the greater world that I am a part of. Often times I find myself caught up in the routine of everyday education and this tree really humbles me with its sheer size and beauty. JC
Found in forests throughout North America, the Sugar Maple is a staple in our ecosystem. This particular one is located directly in front of Johnson hall on the Phillips Academy campus.
If you are a fan of maple syrup and pretty fall colors, you are a sugar maple fan!
