Description:

Perhaps one of the family of flying squirrels I usually see in the winter. This one appeared much bigger and was not afraid of me. Dark furry back, white tummy, extra skin for gliding.

Habitat:

west central ga

Notes:

one of three flying squirrel species in the US.
