Description:

About 20 mm in length, colored as shown. This specimen is missing one hemielytron.

Habitat:

Foothills of mountains with Gambel's Oak thickets as major vegetative component. Grasses, weeds, Opuntia spp. prickly-pear cacti, also.

Notes:

Feeds on seeds in berries, other fruits.
