Woodchuck

Marmota monar

Description:

It is a mother Woodchuck, her young were hidden under the rock. She is living north west of The Canadian Ecology Centre and has not yet been affected by the development. Her young are quite big and seem to be healthy. I have seen two of them but I believe there may be three.

Habitat:

Edge of a forest, north west of The Canadian Ecology Centre. There is lots of vegetation and trees nearby and the Campion Rapids.
