Peruvian Shield Mantis

Choeradodis rhombicollis

Relatively large (approx. 4-5cm. long) bright green mantis with a rounded hood covering the front section of it. Relatively calm, seemed to be pretty confident in it's camouflage.

Was attracted to lights in a shed in the early evening. Captured it and put it in a ventilated jar till the next morning to get some pictures of it.
