Red swamp crawfish

Procambarus clarkii

Description:

A large crayfish with a bright red color and spots all over. It is much thinner and more spindly as well as longer than the more common crayfish species here.

Habitat:

This crayfish was in the riverside drain, which is a channel of clear, slow moving water with deep mud and water weeds.

Notes:

This crayfish is an invasive species here according to my research. Also, I am not too familiar with crayfish ID so please correct me if you think the ID is wrong.
