Rosa rugosa
The rose is a shrub up to 2 m tall in the rose family Rosaceae. It has rough shoots that are densely populated with thin thorns. The pink flowers are larger than other wild roses. The hips, which resemble cherry tomatoes, are 2–3 cm in diameter.
The species poses a threat to biodiversity in Norway, especially on small islands and in coastal areas.
