It was hanging from two legs while rubbing its other feet and legs together to clean them. This species is endemic to Australia.

Nice! Yours is actually hanging. Good shot of the weirdo hooks too. I just found another interesting doc about them and we might have to swap names http://www.publish.csiro.au/paper/IT9940...
