Description:

Bell-shaped flower, orange, red, yellow.

Habitat:

Near sources of water and bottomlands.

Notes:

Orange jewelweed disperses its seeds via ballistic dispersal. Once the seed pods are mature, a touch will cause them to peel back, expelling the seeds.
