I started looking thanks to Karen through Calligrapha for a species, but didn't find any matches... so i backtracked a little through the leaf beetles. I believe I found it. See above suggestion.

It is a calligrapha beetle - maybe the alder calligrapha.

I see what your saying but I looked up pictures and a scarab has a longer body than this bug. Thx for trying

It looks closer to a scarab beetle than to a ladybug to me. The head doesn't look like a ladybug.
