A second False Blister Beetle or Pollen Feeding Beetle that was also 1 cm in length and very similar to the previous spotting (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/214...), except for a much more extensive orange coloration of the thorax and upper elytra. Both were found in the same area and may be of the same species, with variable coloration. Not sure. Family Oedemeridae.
Woody plant, Rancho Nuevo Park, 10 km east of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
