This mother is guarding her spiderlings. Cobweb Weavers are usually sedentary, hanging upside down in the center of an irregular cobweb or hiding in a crevice at the edge of the web. Cobweb Weavers have few or no teeth and do not chew prey. It does suck the food dry.
