Found this one as i almost closed the door on him! Luckily I spotted him (or her..) just in time. About 6 inches long including the tail!

Habitat:

In the downstairs lobby of our block!

It could be, yes. The only thing is the feet are pretty big for it's size, with very long toes! I didn't capture it very well (had to zoom in with my phone) but when i saw it I thought it looked like an amphibian, because of the feet! We live very near a sandy beach, and have very hot summers and very wet winters, if that helps with the habitat. Also it was in the downstairs lobby near a pool, so there is alot of water about. We also live near a big murky pond! I hope someone can id it as I am very curious!

That's and amazing tail - maybe it's a type of skink.
